Dear Subscriber:
As many of you know, we have experienced transmission problems for quite a few issues. Due to these problems we have signed up with a paid mailing service called Postmaster General. This service will actually take care of our mailing list and send out each issue of the Crochet 'N' More Newsletter. We pay a monthly fee for using Postmaster General so, we ask that you please visit our sponsors by clicking on their banners and/or text ads.
A special thank you to all who have written regarding missed issues. Your feedback improves all aspects of the Crochet 'N' More website and makes for a more pleasant crochet experience.
On another note, the provider of our free message board service is discontinuing their service. Therefore, sometime in the near future you will see a different message board at CNM. Please bear with us through these changes as we only hope to provide the best for you, the viewer.

I'm really glad that you have this web page on how to read a pattern. I didn't know how to read them until I found this site.
Thank You very much,

Just want to say "Thank You" for the free patterns.
My sister-in-law does not have a PC and I print out free patterns for her as she is the one that does the crochet in the family. Her health does not permit her to be involved in too many outside activities and this is something that she enjoys. As a result, her family enjoys the fruit of her labor and I happen to be one of the recepients.
Thank you again for the patterns.

Being an avid crocheter, a week or two ago I decided to do a search with the
word crochet. Yours was the first site I came across. It was several days
before I looked for any others but since have found many wonderful sites.
Yours however had the most important information on it. How to become a
child of God through Christ our Lord. I have been a Christian for many years
and just want to encourage you to keep up the good work.
In Christ,
Penny
I have two Pugs and I tried out your sweater pattern and I love it. Wow it was super easy and we had two dog sweaters by the end of the evening. I did have to use a smaller hook, cause they are a little smaller than your dog, but it worked GREAT. My husband was also impressed. Just thought I'd let ya know I used your pattern and love it.

A grandfather was walking past his young granddaughter's room one night
when he saw her kneeling beside her bed, with head bowed and hands
folded, repeating the alphabet.
"What are you doing?" he asked her.
She explained, "I'm saying my prayers, but I couldn't think of just what
I wanted to say. So I'm just saying all the letters of the alphabet, and
God can put them together however He thinks best."
A young boy had just gotten his driving permit. He asked his father, who was
a minister, if they could discuss the use of the car. His father took him to
his study and said to him, "I'll make a deal with you. You bring up your
grades, study your Bible a little and get your hair cut and we'll talk about
it". After a month the boy came back and again asked his father if they could
discuss use of the car. They again went into the father's study where his
father said, "Son, I've been real proud of you. You have brought your grades
up, you've studied your Bible diligently, but you didn't get your hair cut".
The young man waited a moment and replies, "You know Dad, I've been thinking
about that. You know, Samson had long hair, Moses had long hair, Noah had
long hair, and even Jesus had long hair....
To which his father replied, "Yes, and every where they went, they
walked....."
Faith In Action:
My grandmother, who lived in Tucson, was well-known for her
faith and lack of reticence in talking about it. She would go
out on the front porch and say, "Praise the Lord!"
Her next door neighbor would shout back, "There ain't no
Lord!"
During those days, my grandmother was very poor, so the
neighbor decided to prove his point by buying a large bag of
groceries and placing it at her door.
The next morning, Grandmother went to the porch and,
seeing the groceries, said, "Praise the Lord!"
The neighbor stepped out from behind a tree and said, "I
brought those groceries, and there ain't no Lord."
Grandmother replied, "Lord, you not only sent me food but
you made the devil pay for it."
We have women in the military, but they don't put us in the
front lines. They don't know if we can fight, if we can kill. I
think we can. All the general has to do is walk over to the
women and say, "You see the enemy over there? They say
you look fat in those uniforms."
When a man opens the door of his car for his wife, you can
be sure of one thing: either the car is new or the wife is.
A little girl and her mother attended a wedding. Afterward the little girl asked
her mother why the bride
changed her mind. "What do you mean?" responded
her mother.
"Well, she went down the aisle with one man, and came back with
another."
