MATERIALS:
Hook: Steel Size 7
#10 Bedspread Wt. Cotton
Pin Back or Latch Pin
Stitches used: ch, sl st, hdc.VERTICAL PIECE:
Ch 15
* Hdc in hump of 3rd ch from hk. Hdc in the hump of each rem ch. Place 5 hdc in the end foundation ch.
Working along the opposite side of the foundation chain, work one hdc in each unworked lp. Place 5 hdc in the end. Join with sl st. Fasten off. *
HORIZONTAL PIECE:
Ch 10
Repeat directions for Vertical Piece from * to *.
BORDER:
Holding the horizontal piece behind the vertical piece to form a cross. Join thread through both pieces in any sp where the pieces intersect. Ch 1, sc evenly around the entire cross being sure to work through both pieces where they meet and being sure to add extra stitches around the ends.
FINISHING:
Add a pin back or use a latch pin to fasten pin to your lapel.
