Where did you find the picture?
Do you have a pattern name or the name of the designer?

Re: How to Crochet - Row Count Pattern/Color Changes - Part 1
Comments:
Thumbs up for the shortcut technique of making the slipknot.
Do you have some video with explanations of how to read this "source code" for patterns?
I mean the shortcut notation: what do all these shortcuts mean?
I already know some stitches, but now I'd like to know how to read and write the code.

RE: How to Crochet - Single Crochet Stitch
The video quality is a bit low, so not everything is clearly visible.
Fortunately I somehow managed to follow your instructions.
One thing I couldn't understand and I had to figure out myself after
watching several videos is why do you skip one loop at the beginning.
I guess it'd be good to explain that this loop is meant to move you
up one unit to the next row above. And when you're already there,
you don't need to skip any more loops in the subsequent stitches.
Saskachewan
---
I'll keep your comments in mind for future videos.
The number of chains that you skip when beginning a crochet row depends on the height of the stitch you use to begin that row.
Single Srochet = one chain
Half Double Crochet = two chains
Double Crochet = three chains
Treble Crochet = four chains
To begin subsequent rows you make the number of chains to equal the height of the first stitch used.

Re: How to Crochet : Reverse Half Double Crochet
Comment:
Thank you for an easy to understand lesson on this stitch. It is new to me, although I've crocheted quite a bit. I'm making a little bag that calls for this stitch. She had written instructions on how to do it, but your video makes it crystal clear. Thank you.

This book
is a wonderful addition to any crochet library.
I've had numerous requests over the years of what to crochet for
boys.
Crobots are definitely the answer!
This 96-page book is filled with numerous types of Crobot patterns
as well as well-illustrated instructions for the
crochet stitches, assembly stitches and other embellishments used
in the patterns.
The patterns are well written, some of the book is written in a
small font but the pictures are wonderful. NOTE:
This book comes to you with a safety warning regarding the small
parts used in the patterns.
Therefore, please use your own discretion as to the age of the child
you intend the gift for.

"Laughter is an instant vacation." - Milton Berle

Humor provides us with a valuable tool for
maintaining an inner strength in the midst
of outer turmoil. - Brian Deery
A 5-year-old boy mistakenly stepped into the women's dressing room at the health club. Women screamed and grabbed their towels.
The little one asked, "What's the matter? Haven't you ever seen a kid before?"
One morning, as I was hurrying to get
ready for work, my five- year-old son,
Jamie, was crying that his pet poodle,
Percy, had got out of the houseand was
running towards the highway.
Percy loved riding in the car, so I told
Jamie to go out to the carport and open
the car door, and Percy would come back.
"No, he won't!" he sobbed. "He knows I
can't drive that car!"
I try to be creative at disguising obvious gifts
when wrapping Christmas presents.
One year I bought a video for my four-year-old
son, and not wanting him to guess what it was,
I put it in a cereal box, wrapped it and put it
under the tree.
Christmas morning he tore off the paper, let
out a whoop and exclaimed, "Look, Mom, I got
breakfast!"
A guy is 81 years old and loves to fish. He was sitting in
his boat the other day when he heard a voice say, "Pick me
up."
He looked around! and couldn't see any one. He thought he
was dreaming when he heard the voice say again, "Pick me up."
He looked in the water and there, floating on the top, was a
frog.
The man said, "Are you talking to me?"
The frog said, "Yes, I'm talking to you. Pick me up. Then,
kiss me and I'll turn into the most beautiful woman you have
ever seen."
The man looked at the frog for a short time, reached over,
picked it up carefully, and placed it in his front breast
pocket.
Then the frog said, "What, are you nuts? Didn't you hear
what I said? I said kiss me and I will become the most
beautiful woman you've ever seen!"
He opened his pocket, looked at the frog and said, "Nah, at
my age I'd rather have a talking frog."
Grandpa tells of the time his six-year-old grandson found
a penny and proudly showed it to his grandmother.
"What's so great about finding a penny?" she asked. "You
can't buy anything with it."
"Yes you can," he said. "You can buy a dream in a wishing
well."
A major was assigned to a new office on a
military base. While he worked to set up
his office, a private knocked on the door.
The major quickly picked up the phone and
motioned for the private to enter.
On the phone the major said, "Yes, General
Schwarzkopf, I think that is an excellent
idea. . . . No sir, that's fine, you feel
free to call me any time. I'm glad I can
help. . . . Yes sir, I will, and you give
my best to your family as well. Thank you,
sir, and a good day to you too, General
Schwarzkopf."
As the major hung up the phone he turned to
the private and asked, "What can I do for you,
private?"
Sheepishly, the private mumbled, "Um, sir,
I'm just here to hook up your phone."
The computer in my high school classroom recently
started acting up. After watching me struggle with
it, one of my students came up and took over.
"Your hard drive crashed," he said.
I called the computer services office and explained,
"My computer is down. The hard drive crashed."
"We can't just send people down on your say-so. How
do you know that's the problem?"
"A student told me," I answered.
"We'll send someone over right away."
A husband and wife were involved in a petty argument, both
of them unwilling to admit they might be in error.
"I'll admit I'm wrong," the wife told her husband in a
conciliatory attempt, "if you'll admit I'm right."
He agreed and, like a gentleman, insisted she go first.
"I'm wrong," she said.
With a twinkle in his eye, he responded, "You're right!"
The loaded mini-van pulled into a campsite. Four children
leaped from the vehicle and began feverishly unloading gear
and setting up the tent. The boys rushed to gather firewood,
while the girls and their mother set up the camp stove and
cooking utensils.
A nearby camper marveled to the youngsters' father, "That,
sir, is some display of teamwork."
The father replied, "I have a system: no one goes to the
bathroom until the camp is set up."
Customer gets a topical cream. Directions: Apply locally
two times a day.
Customer says to the pharmacist: "I can't apply locally;
I'm going overseas."
During my husband's time as an older student, we
didn't have much money for our family of seven.
At a friend's wedding, my four-year-old daughter
was sitting next to me when the minister asked,
"Do you take this man for better or worse, for
richer or poorer, in sickness and in health?”
Our daughter turned to me and whispered loudly,
"You chose poorer, didn't you Mommy?”
