WORKING ROW vs. ROW BELOW
Many crochet patterns are basic, in the sense that each new row/round is formed by crocheting the new stitches into the stitches of the "working row"... meaning into the stitches of the row/round you just completed.
Some more advanced patterns will have you crochet into a stitch "one row below", "two rows below", etc.
This means is you crochet into the indicated stitch(es) on a row other than the "working row".
For instance, say you have a crochet fabric that is 5 rows of all double crochet stitches and the instruction for row 6 states you are to ch3, turn, and then work 4dc into the next 4sts. You would work these stitches into the "working row". Lets say the next part of the instruction says to work a dc into the next st "two rows below". This means you look at the next stitch on the working row and then count down two rows below that, which would have you work the dc into the next st on the third row down.
This can be a bit confusing, however, working into stitches on rows other than the traditional "working row" gives your project a beautiful texture.

Be sure to read the fine print on yarn labels. Some yarns are not colorfast and will bleed dye onto other colors if you combine colors in a project.

RE: I LOVE Your Dishcloth Pattern!
Hi!
I just HAD to let you know how much I LOVE your dishcloth pattern: http://www.crochetnmore.com/dishcloth.htm. I found it through Pinterest: http://pinterest.com/pin/408068416206806487/. It is the first dishcloth I have ever crocheted and I love the fact that when I’m finished....I’m finished! No edging to to do! The pattern looks complicated, but actually is so easy. I don’t know how you ever came up with it to produce such a nice finished look.
I have pinned a lot of dishcloth patterns in anticipation of making them. However, I doubt that many of them will ever be used because your pattern is so easy and pretty. Thank you so much for sharing it.

This book
is a wonderful addition to any crochet library.
I've had numerous requests over the years of what to crochet for
boys.
Crobots are definitely the answer!
This 96-page book is filled with numerous types of Crobot patterns
as well as well-illustrated instructions for the
crochet stitches, assembly stitches and other embellishments used
in the patterns.
The patterns are well written, some of the book is written in a
small font but the pictures are wonderful. NOTE:
This book comes to you with a safety warning regarding the small
parts used in the patterns.
Therefore, please use your own discretion as to the age of the child
you intend the gift for.

"Laughter is an instant vacation." - Milton Berle
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Humor provides us with a valuable tool for
maintaining an inner strength in the midst
of outer turmoil. - Brian Deery
A police officer stopped a motorist for failing to come to a full stop at a stop sign and proceeded to give him a ticket.
The motorist protested, "Don't I get a warning?"
The officer replied, "Sure. If you don't come to
a complete stop next time, you'll get another
ticket."
Six-year old Angie and her four-year old brother, Joel, were sitting together in church. Joel giggled,
sang and talked out loud.
Finally, his big sister had had enough. "You're not supposed to talk out loud in church."
"Why? Who's going to stop me?" Joel asked.
Angie pointed to the back of the church and said,"See those two men standing by the door?
They're hushers."
Heard over a public address system:
Will the person who lost the roll of $100 bills
tied with a rubber band please come to the office.
We've found the rubber band.
My friend's four boys were young and bursting with energy, especially in church. But the sermon her minister preached on "turning the other cheek" got
their undivided attention. The minister stressed
that no matter what others do to us, we should
never try to "get even."
That afternoon the youngest boy came into the house
crying. Between sobs he told his mother he had
kicked one of his brothers, who had kicked him in
return.
"I'm sorry you're hurt," his mother said. "But you shouldn't go around kicking people."
To which the tearful child replied, "But the preacher said he isn't supposed to kick me back."
Because my mother had a habit of losing her cordless phone, I bought her a phone with a clip on it so she could attach it directly
to her belt.
A few days later, I walked into my mother's home and found her standing in the middle of the living room, halfway dressed.
That did not strike me as odd so much as the fact that she was
holding her pants to the side of her head and speaking into them.
"Do not look at me that way!" she yelled. "The phone started
ringing and I couldn't figure out how to undo this stupid clip!"
A wife asks her husband, "Could you please go shopping for me and buy one gallon of milk, and if they have eggs, get 6."
A short time later the husband returns home with 6 cartons of milk. The wife asked him, "Why did you buy 6 gallons of milk?"
He replied, "They had eggs."
Morris and his wife Sherry were planning a vacation.
They ended up in an argument, "It's pronounced 'Hawaii', I'm telling you!" Sherry said.
"I never KNEW someone so stubborn! 'Havaii' is how it's pronounced!" he replied.
And so it went, all the way to the vacation...
As they got off the airplane, they passed by a man. Morris abruptly stopped his wife and turned to the man to ask,
"Now that
we're on the island, you can settle an argument between my wife
and me. Is this 'Hawaii' or 'Havaii?' "
"This is Havaii," the man replied.
"Ha!" the husband gloated to his wife. "See, didn't I tell you never to argue with me?"
As they began to walk away, Morris turned back and gave the
man a hearty "Thank you!"
"You're Velcome!" he called back.
AT THE OCEANA, VA. Naval Air Station, I was training a young ground-crew member on how to direct an F-14 into the fuel pit. I glanced over to check wing clearance and, when I looked back, discovered that he had taxied the aircraft too far forward for the fuel hose to reach.
"You'll have to send him around again," I informed the trainee.
"What?" he said, surprised.
"They spend millions on these
things and you can't put them in reverse?"

The new family in the neighborhood overslept, and their six-year-old daughter missed her school bus. The father, though late for work, said he would drive her if she'd direct him to the school.
They rode several blocks before she told him to turn the first time. Several blocks later she told him to turn again. After 20 minutes of turn after turn, they finally reached the school. At that point, the father realized they were only a few blocks from their home. Extremely annoyed, he asked his daughter why she had led him around in such circles.
"But, daddy," the child protested, "that's the way the school bus goes, and it's the only way I know."
During a tour at the Arizona Sonora Desert
Museum, a New York City woman mentioned that
she was raising a type of cactus in a pot on
her apartment balcony.
Another tourist asked her how she kept from watering it too much, because the cactus would die if over watered.
"I subscribe to the Tucson newspaper," replied the New Yorker. "Every time I read that it rained in the desert, I give my plant some water."
When my husband visited our son, Michael, at boot camp, he found him marching smartly with his unit.
Michael's father proudly approached the soldiers and began to snap photo after photo. Embarrassed and worried about getting into trouble, Michael looked straight ahead and didn't change his expression.
Suddenly his drill sergeant barked, "Comito, give me 25 push-ups. And the next time your daddy wants your picture, you smile!"
