Measures 11-3/4" Tip to Tip

MATERIALS:

Peaches & Creme 4 Ply Cotton Yarn (White - Less than 3 ounces)
Size 10 Bedspread Cotton Thread (Green - Less than 1 ounce)
Hook Size H

Stitches: ch, sc, sl st, hdc, dc.

NOTE: Entire pattern is worked holding one strand of yarn and one strand of thread together.

Difficulty:  MEDIUM

R1: Ch4, dc in the 4th ch from the hook.
(Ch4, sl st in the 4th ch from the hook)
*2dc in the same ch as the previous dc.
(Ch4, sl st in the 4th ch from the hook)
Rep from * 3 more times.
Join with a sl st in the top of the beg ch4.

R2: Do not turn. Sl st in the next dc.
Sl st in the next ch4 sp.
Ch3, (2dc, ch2, 3dc) in the same sp.
(3dc, ch2, 3dc) in ea rem ch4 sp.
Join with a sl st in the top of the beg ch3.

R3: Do not turn. Ch2, hdc in the next 2sts.
* [ 2dc (Ch4, sl st in the 4th ch from the hook) 2dc ] all in the next ch4 sp.
Hdc in the next 6sts.
Rep from * 3 times.
[ 2dc (Ch4, sl st in the 4th ch from the hook) 2dc ] all in the next ch4 sp.
Hdc in the next 2sts.
Join with a sl st in the top fo the beg ch2.

R4: Do not turn. Ch2. Hdc in ea st acorss to the next ch4 sp.
* (2dc, ch2, 2dc) in the ch4 sp.
Hdc in ea st across to the next ch4 sp.
Rep from * 3 times.
(2dc, ch2, 2dc) in the next ch4 sp.
Hdc in ea rem st.
Join with a sl st in the top of the beg ch2.

Rs5-7: Do not turn. Ch2. Hdc in ea st around, placing (2dc, ch2, 2dc) in ea corner ch-sp.
Join with a sl st in the top of the beg ch2.

Fasten off.
