MATERIALS:

Bernat Baby Coordinates (color of your choice)
Hook Size H

Stitches: ch, sl st, dc, sc.
Difficulty: EASY/MEDIUM

R1: Ch 16, sc in hump of 2nd ch from hook. Sc in hump of each rem ch. (15 sc).

Rs2-29: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea sc.

EDGING: Ch1, turn. Sc in same st. Ch2. (Sc in next st or row end, ch2) around entire piece. Join with sl st in top of beg ch1.

Fasten Off.

FINISHING: Fold piece in half with short edges tog. Sew up both sides using same yarn and a yarn needle. Bring both bottom corners tog and stitch or tack them to the center bottom of the purse.

TOP OF PURSE

R1: Join same yarn in any ch2 sp along top edge. Ch3, dc in ea ch2 sp around edge. Join with sl st.

R2: Sl st between next 2 dc, ch5, dc in same sp.
* (dc, ch2, dc) between next 2dc. Rep from * around.
Join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch5.

HANDLE: Ch2, sc in 2nd ch. (ch1, turn, sc in sc) until handle measures 24 inches long. Weave handle through spaces between dc sts on R1. Sew both ends of handle tog using same yarn and yarn needle.
