MATERIALS:

Red Heart Super Saver-4ply worsted weight (Pumpkin- 1/4 ounce)
Red Heart Super Saver-4ply worsted weight (White - 1/4 ounce)
Hook Size G

Stitches: ch, fsc, sc, sl st.

FSC = Foundation Single Crochet

To begin a Foundation Single Crochet row, Chain 2.
Insert hook into the second chain from the hook
yarn over and draw a loop through (2 lps on hook)
chain 1 (2 lps still on hook)
yarn over and draw through two loops to finish the foundation single crochet.
* Insert hook into last chain made, yarn over and draw a loop through. (2 lps on hook)
Chain 1. (2 lps still on hook) Yarn over and draw through two loops to finish the foundation single crochet. Repeat from the asterisk * for as many stitches as you need for your project.

Difficulty:  MEDIUM

NOTE: Pattern changes colors on every stitch. Always change colors in the last step of each stitch. Same method used in regular color changes.

R1: Beginning with White, Ch2 and work 1fsc, changing to Pumpkin in the last step.
Work 1fsc in Pumpkin, changing to White in the last step.
Continue to alternate 1-White FSC and 1-Pumpkin FSC for a total of 15 stitches. (15fsc)

R2: Ch1, turn. Changing colors in the last step of every st... and working 1sc in ea st.
Place a White Sc in ea Pumpkin st and a Pumpkin sc in ea White st.

Rs3-15: Rep R2.

BORDER: Changing to Pumpkin, ch1, sc in ea st around, placing 3sc in ea corner st. Join with a sl st in the first sc.

Fasten off
