MATERIALS:
Red Heart Super Saver (small amount of main color -mc- and contrasting color -cc-)
Hook - Size G
Stitches: ch, sl st, sc, tr.
Difficulty: MEDIUM
R1: With MC, ch5, 19tr in 5th ch from hook. Join with sl st in top of beg ch5. Fasten Off.
R2: Join CC between the posts of any two tr sts. Ch3. (2tr, ch2, 3tr) in same sp. Ch1. * (3tr, ch2, 3tr) between the 5th and 6th tr sts. Ch1. Rep from * around. Join with sl st in top fo beg ch3. Fasten Off.
R3: Join MC with sl st in any corner ch2 sp. Ch3. (2tr, ch2, 3tr) in same sp. (Tr bet posts of next 2 tr sts) twice. 3tr in next ch sp. (Tr bet posts of next 2 tr sts) twice. * (3tr, ch2, 3tr) in corner ch2 sp. (tr bet posts of next 2 tr sts) twice. 3tr in next ch sp. (tr bet posts of next 2 tr sts) twice. Rep from * around.
R4: Join CC in any ch2 corner sp. Ch1. * (2sc, ch2, 2sc) in corner sp. Sc bet posts of all tr sts across to corner. Rep from * around.
Fasten Off.
Make as many squares as you need to obgain the afghan size you want and use your favorite joining method. If you want an afghan that is 60" x 60" then you need to make the project 10 squares x 10 squares.
