The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.
I have tested this pattern but please contact me if you find any errors.
MATERIALS:
Peaches & Creme 4-ply Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn (White = less than 1oz and very small amount of red)
Hook Size F
Yarn Needle
Stitches used: ch, sl st, sc, sc2tog,hdc. dc.
Difficulty: MEDIUM
Make 2
ROW 1: Ch11, sc in the second ch from the hook and in ea rem ch. (10sc)
Rs2-7: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st.
Root 1 (Begin Short Rows)
Rs8-10: Ch1, turn. Sc in 5sts.
R11: Ch1, turn. Sc2tog. Sc in ea of the last 3sts.
R12: Ch1, turn. Sc in 2sts. Sc2tog.
R13: Ch1, turn. Sc2tog. Sc in last st.
R14: Ch1, turn. Sc2tog.
Fasten off.
Root 2 (rejoin yarn)
R1: With Row 1 facing you, join yarn with a sc in the first unworked st on R7.
Sc in ea rem unworked st. (5sts)
Rs2-3:Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st.
R4: Ch1, turn. Sc in 3sts. Sc2tog.
R5: Ch1, turn. Sc2tog. Sc in 2sts
R6: Ch1, turn. Sc in the first st, sc2tog..
R7: Ch1, turn. Sc2tog.
FASTEN OFF.
FINISHING:
Use the small amount of red yarn and a yarn needle to stitch on the face, using the photo as a guide. You can do this before or after joining the two pieces.
Holding both pieces tog, beg on upper left side. Sc cor sts tog down both sides and bottom. At the top opening working into sts of front piece only, * Sc in first st. Hdc in the next st, dc in next st, hdc in next st, sl st in next 2sts, hdc in next st, dc in next dc, hdc in next st, sc in last st.
Rep from * on back side of top opening.
Join with a sl st in the first sc.
Fasten off.
NOTE: Use a small baggie or some gift wrap tissue inside the pouch to contain the tooth.
