MATERIALS:
Red Heart Super Saver
(less than 1 ounce of ea color)
MC-Main Color
CC-Contrasting Color
H Hook
Yarn Needle
Stitches: ch, sc, sl st.
Difficulty:
MEDIUM
R1: With MC Ch24, Sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sc in next 6chs.
(Ch1, sk next ch, sc in next 7chs) 2 times.
R2. Ch1, turn. Sc in next 7sts. (Ch1, skip next ch, sc in next 7chs) 2 times.
Rs 3-7: Rep R2.
R8: Ch1, turn. Sc in first st. (Ch1, skip next st, sc in next st) across.
R9: Ch1, turn. Sc in first st. (Sc in next ch-sp. Sc in next st) 3 times.
*Ch1, skip next st, sc in next st. (Sc in next ch-sp. Sc in next st) 3 times.
Rep from * once.
Rs10-15: Rep R2.
R16: Rep R8.
R17: Rep R9.
Rs18-23: Rep R2.
VERTICAL DIVIDERS
With CC, and working from bottom to top in the chain spaces, sl st around the first ch left unworked. Sl st around ea unworked ch until you get to the top of the square. Fasten off and repeat for the next vertical divider.

HORIZONTAL DIVIDERS
The horizontal dividers are worked similar to the vertical dividers with the exception of a few chains. Using CC, and working from right to left, sl st around the first st, (ch1, sl st around next st) across. Note: When you come to the vertical divider row just work over it.
EDGE
R1: Using CC, ch1, do not turn. Sc evenly around entire square, placing 3sc in ea corner. Join with a sl st in the first sc made.
Rs2-3: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st and place 3sc in ea corner st. Join with a sl st in the first sc made.
