MATERIALS:

#10 Bedspread Weight Cotton Thread
Steel Hook Size 1

Stitches: ch, dc, sc, tr.

Difficulty: MEDIUM


MAIN PIECE:

R1: Ch34, sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sc in ea rem ch. (33sc)

R2: Ch1, turn. Sc in next st. (Tr in next st. Sc in next st) across.

R3: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st. (33sc)

R4: Ch4, turn. Sk next st. Dc in next st. (Ch1, sk next st, dc in next st) across.

R5: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea dc. Sc in ea ch1 sp.

Rs6-29: Rep Rows 2-5, 6 times.

R30: Rep R2.

R31: Rep R3.

R32: Ch4, turn. Sk next st. Dc in next st. (Ch1, sk next st, dc in next st) 4 times. Ch11, sk 11 sts. Dc in next st. (Ch1, sk next st, dc in next st) across.

Holding Row 1 and Row 32 tog, sew corresponding sts tog.

END INSERT: Ch18, dc in 4th ch from hk. Dc in ea rem ch across to last. 5dc in last ch. Working in the unworked lps of each foundation chain, dc in each ch. 4dc in base of 1st dc (totals 5dc on that end). Join with sl st. Fasten Off leaving a length for sewing.

Insert the pocket tissue pack into the cover to help when sewing the end insert to the main piece.
Using same thread, sew evenly around entire end.

Attach thread on the center stitch on the top of the cover and chain for about 5". Do same on center back. These ties will hold the pocket tissue packet in the cover.
