Center handle and join cor sts on each side of pouch using the yarn needle.
Be careful not to twist the handle.

Working in the two sts near the center along the top of one panel, join same yarn with a sl st in the first st. Ch15, join with a sl st in the next st on the panel.

Using the yarn needle and same yarn, sew on the button.

Note: if your button holes are too small to use a yarn needle and yarn to join it you may use a sewing needle and similar color thread to join the button to the bag.
