MATERIALS:
Red Heart 4-ply, ww yarn (Cherry, Hunter Green)
Red Heart Baby Sport - Black with white filament (small amount)
Yarn Needle
Magnet and Glue
Stitches: ch, sl st, sc, picot
PICOT=Ch3, sl st in 3rd ch from hook.
Difficulty: EASY/MEDIUM
R1: Ch3, sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sc in last ch. Ch1 turn.
R2:2sc in ea st. Ch1, turn.
R3:2sc in 1st st. Sc in ea st across to last st. 2sc in last st. Ch1, turn.
R4: Sc in ea st. Ch1, turn.
R5: Rep R3.
R6: Rep R4.
R7: Rep R3.
R8: Rep R4.
R9: Sc dec2tog. Sc in ea sc across to last 2 sc. Sc dec last 2tog. Ch1, turn.
EDGING: Sl st evenly around. Join with sl st and fasten off.
LEAF: With green, working in the 3 center sts, join and work a sc in ea st. Ch1, turn. Working in bl only of those 3 singles, (sc, picot) twice in ea sc. Work an additional sc in the last st. Fasten Off.
Leaf should fold down toward the front of the strawberry.
FINISHING: With yarn needle and black thread free stitch seeds working only through the front side of the strawberry so the yarn doesn't show on the back. Glue magnet to back of fridgie.
