The following pattern is my original design and can only be copied or printed for personal use.

MATERIALS:

Hook: Size I (I use Boye brand)

Yarn: Any 4ply worsted weight yarn. Red Heart or Simply Soft yarn works really well.

A rubber band or elastic hair band that measures approximately 3-3/4" long.

Stitches used: ch, sl st, sc, dc.

Difficulty: EASY

RND 1: Join yarn around the band and do 26 sc around it. Join with sl st. DO NOT TURN.

RND 2: (Ch 5, skip next sc, sc in next sc,) around. Join with sl st in same st as beg ch.

RND 3: Sc in next ch 5 sp, ch 3, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same ch 5 sp. *(2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next ch 5 sp. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st in top of beg ch 3. Fasten off.

Weave in ends.

HAPPY CROCHETING
