Have you ever wondered what to do with those pesky left over yarn scraps that aren't quite enough for any project, but just too much to throw away? Well I have come up with a simple pattern to take care of this problem. I am making a bedspread with mine but let your imagination be your guide.
Materials: scrap yarn
black yarn for edging
Hook: I (or any size you want really)
Square size with I hook approx 3 1/2 "
With scrap yarn ch4, join with sl st in 1st ch to form ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 3, 15 dc in ring, join with sl st in top of ch 3. (16 sc)
Rnd 2: ch 3, 4 dc in same sp as joining, dc in next 3 dc,
*5 dc in next dc, dc in next 3 dc, rep from * 2X, join with sl st in top of ch 3. Fasten off.
Rnd 3: Join black in 3rd dc of any corner grp, ch 1, 3 sc in joining, sc in ea dc around working 3 sc in 3rd dc of 5 dc grp. Join with sl st in 1st sc. Fasten off.
Enjoy and "GOD BLESS"
