MATERIALS:

Red Heart Super Saver-4ply worsted weight
1/4 ounce of White
1/4 ounce of Red
Small amount of Black

Hook Size H/8 5.00MM

Stitches: ch, sc, sl st, ftr, tr.

FTR = Foundation Treble Crochet (see crochet basics)

Difficulty:  MEDIUM

R1: With White, make 16 FTR. -Right Side-
Fasten off.

R2: Change to Red in last st.
Ch1, turn. Sc in same st.
Sc in FLO of ea st across to last st.
Sc in last st. (16sc)

R3: Ch3, turn. Tr in ea st.

Rep Rs 2&3 with White.

Rep Rs 2&3 with Red.

BORDER

Join Black with a sc in any st on the last row. Sc evenly around square placing 3sc in ea corner.

NOTE: I put 3sc in the bars of ea tr along the sides and a sc in ea sc row end.

Join with a sl st.

Fasten off.
