MATERIALS:

THREAD: #10 Bedspread Cotton
Steel Hook Size 7

Stitches: ch, sl st, sc.

Difficulty:  EASY

MAKE 2

Make a chain that measures the length of the shoe strings you need.
Ch1, turn. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in ea rem ch across to the end.
3sc in the end ch. Sc in each unworked lp of the foundation ch, place
2 additional sc in the last ch to make 3 sc in that end. Join with a sl st
and fasten off.

OPTIONAL:
To finish the ends, you can either...
wrap the same thread around the end tightly to shape the ends and secure it by adding a little glue;
wrap the ends with tape
or use a crochet hook to pull the strings through when lacing the shoes.
