The following pattern is my original design.

MATERIALS:
Hook: Size G
Yarn: 4 Ply Cotton Yarn
Stitches used: ch, sl st, dc.
Difficulty: EASY
RND 1: Ch 4, 11dc in 4th ch from hk. Join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch 4. Ch 3, Turn. (12 dc).
RND 2: Dc in same st as beg ch 3. 2 dc in each rem st. Join with sl st in top of beg ch 3. Ch 3, turn. (24 dc).
RND 3: * 2dc in next dc, dc in next dc. Rep from * around to last dc. 2 dc in last dc. Join with sl st in top of beg ch 3. Ch 3, turn. (36 dc).
RND 4: * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 2 dc. Rep from * around to last 2 dc. 2 dc in next dc, dc in last dc. Join with sl st in top of beg ch 3. Ch 3, turn. (48 dc).
RND 5: * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 3 dc. Rep from * around to last 3 dc. 2 dc in next dc, dc in last 2 dc. Join with sl st in top of beg ch 3. ch 3, turn. (60 dc).
RND 6: * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 4 dc. Rep from * around to last 4 dc. 2 dc in next dc, dc in last 3 dc. Join with sl st in top of beg ch 3. Ch 3, turn.(72 dc).
RND 7: Dc in same dc as beg ch 3, * ch 1, sk next dc, dc in next dc, ch 1, sk next dc, 2 dc in next dc. Rep from * around to last dc, ch 1, sk next dc. Join with sl st in top of beg ch 3.
OR
OPTIONAL RND 7: Dc in same dc as beg ch3. * Ch1, dc in next dc, ch1, 2 dc in next dc. Rep from * around to last dc. Ch 1, dc in last dc, ch1. Join with sl st in top of beg ch3.
OPTIONAL Hanging Loop: After joining Rnd 7, ch7, sl st in same sp as joining.
FASTEN OFF.
