MATERIALS:
Red Heart
Super Saver-4ply worsted weight (White - 2 ounces)
Hook Size G
Stitches: ch,
sc, sc2tog, sl st.
Difficulty:
MEDIUM
R1: Ch51. Sc in
the hump of the 2nd ch from the hook. Sc in the hump of ea rem ch. (50sts)
R2: Join first and last st with a sl st to form a ring. Ch1, sc in ea st.
Rs3-24: Begin continuous rounds. Place marker at beg of ea new rnd. Sc in ea st. (50sts)
R25: Place marker. (Sc in 8sts. Sc2tog.) around. (45sts)
R26: Place marker. Sc in ea st.
R27: Place marker. (Sc in 7sts. Sc2tog.) around. (40sts)
R28: Rep R26.
R29: Place marker. (Sc in 6sts. Sc2tog.) around. (35sts)
R30: Rep R26.
R31: Place marker. (Sc in 5sts. Sc2tog.) around. (30sts)
R32: Rep R26.
R33-end: Sc2tog around until the opening is closed.
Fasten off and weave in tail.
The brim can be rolled up or folded up (your choice).
