MATERIALS:

4 ply Cotton Yarn
Hook Size H

Stitches: ch, sc, dc, sl st, fpdc, bpdc.

Difficulty: MEDIUM

R1: Ch26. sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sc in ea rem ch. (25sc)

R2: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea sc. (25sc)

R3: Ch1, turn. Sc in 1st sc. (ch1, sk next sc, sc in next sc) across

R4: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea sc and in each ch1 sp. (25sc)

R5: Rep R2.

Rs 6-26: Rep Rs3-5 7 times.

BORDER

R1: Ch1, do not turn. Placing 3 sc in ea corner. Sc in ea row end. Sc in ea unworked lp. Sc in ea row end up opposite side. Sc in ea st across R26. Join with a sl st.

R2: Ch3, do not turn. Dc in ea sc. 3dc in ea corner st. Join with sl st in top of beg ch3.

R3: Sl st around front of post of same st as joining. Ch3. Bpdc around next dc.
(Fpdc around next dc. Bpdc around next dc) around. Join with sl st and fasten off.
