me if you find any errors.
MATERIALS:
2" Plastic
Bag Strips
(not sure how many bags but I worked from a ball of them about the size of a
basketball and still had half left over.)
(Click
Here for Plastic Bag Strip Preparation Instructions)
Hook Size Q
2-1/2" wide wire edge ribbon (color of your choice)
1-48" long piece and 1-20"
long piece
Stitches:
ch, sl st, sc.
Difficulty: MEDIUM
R1: Ch12, join to form a ring. Ch1, sc in ea ch.
Begin continuous rounds. Sc in ea sc around until piece measures approximately 12" long.
HANDLE: Sl st in next st.
(Ch1, sc in hump of ch) 3 times.
Join with sl st in next unworked st on the continuous round. Sl st in the next
unworked
st. This helps even out the edge.
FASTEN OFF
Reattach plastic strip to
opposite end of bag keeper. (Sc dec 2tog, sc in next 2 sts) around.
Fasten off.
Weave the 48" piece of ribbon through along the top and tie a bow (see photo).
Weave the 20" piece
of ribbon through along the bottom (see photo). I pulled the ribbon out at
each space to make it look more finished.
Fill with plastic bags and hang it up.
