MATERIALS:
Cotton Yarn-
4 ply WW
Hook Size I
Stitches: ch, sl st, sc, dc,
Popcorn:
5 dc in next st, drop lp from hook, insert
hook in first st of 5-dc group,
pick up dropped lp, draw through st, ch
1.
Difficulty: EASY/MEDIUM
-- MAKE 2 --
R1: Ch29, dc in 4th ch from hook. Dc in ea rem ch.
R2: Ch3, turn. *Dc in next dc. Sk next dc. Popcorn in next dc. Sk next dc. Rep from * across to last 2dc. Dc in last 2dc. (15 sts).
R3: Ch3, turn. 2dc in next
dc. Dc in popcorn. (3dc in next dc; dc in next popcorn) 5 times.
2dc in next dc. Dc in last dc. (27 dc)
Rs4-11: Repeat R2 and R3 four times.
Popcorns are on the Right Side.
Holding wrong sides together. Sc around entire hotpad through both pieces, placing 1sc in corresponding sts; 3sc in ea corner st and 2sc around the posts of the corresponding doubles down each side.
Fasten Off.
