MATERIALS:

Hook: Size G
Red Heart Super Saver
3"x5" memo pad
Yarn Needle
14" length of cording (may substitute ribbon or use yarn)

Stitches used: ch, sl st, sc.

Difficulty: MEDIUM

Row 1: Ch 13, sc in hump of 2nd ch from hook. Sc in hump of ea rem ch.

Rows 2-48: Ch 1, turn. Sc in ea st.

EDGE: Ch 1, turn. Sc evenly around entire piece, placing 3 sc in ea corner.

FASTEN OFF/WEAVE IN ENDS

Fold Row 1 to Row 36 and sew the sides together using the same color yarn and the yarn needle.
This forms the pocket to put the memo pad in.
Fold the top down far enough to allow a pencil to slide through it and sew the edge down.
Insert the memo pad. Fold flap down over the spiral of the memo pad as shown in the photo and insert the cording through the flap and the back near the seams. Tie the top of the cording.
