The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.

Doily size:
9 1/2 inches by 5 1/2

Thanks Deb for measuring your doily for me.
For those who don't know, I put the pictured doily in a shop to sell and hadn't had time to make another. Thanks to Deb you now have the correct size.
She also found an error (in row 8) I made in typing in the pattern which has now been corrected.

MATERIALS:

Hook: Size E (I use Boye brand)

Yarn: #10 Bedspread Cotton

Stitches used: ch, sl st, sc, dc, tr.

Difficulty: MEDIUM


NOTE: This pattern is worked in rounds.

RND 1: Ch 27, dc in 4th ch from hk and in each ch across, placing 5 dcs in the end ch. Working up opposite side, dc in each rem unworked lp of each ch, placing 3 additional dcs in the last lp. Join w/sl st in top of 1st st. DO NOT TURN.

RND 2: Ch 4, sc in next st, * ch 4, sk next st, sc in next st. Repeat from * around entire piece. Join with sl st at base of 1st ch 4.

RND 3: Sl st in next ch 4 sp. * Ch 4, sc in next ch 4 sp. Repeat from * 11 times. Ch 4, sc in next lp, ch 4, sc in same lp. * Ch 4, sc in next ch 4 sp. Repeat from * 12 times. Ch 4, sc in next lp, ch 4, sc in same lp. Ch 4, join with sl st at base of 1st ch 4.

RND 4: Sl st twice in the next ch 4 sp. * Ch 4, sc in next ch 4 sp. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st at base of 1st ch 4.

RND 5: Sl st twice in next ch 4 sp. Ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2 dc in same ch 4 sp. * 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in next ch 4 sp. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st in top of beg ch 3.

RND 6: Sl st in next dc, sl st in next ch 2 sp. * Ch 4, sc in next ch 2 sp. Repeat from * around ending with the last sc in the same place as the beg ch 4.

RND 7: 4 sc in each ch 4 sp around. Join with sl st in 1st sc made.

RND 8: Ch 4, work 8 tr in same sp. * Sk next 3 sc, sc in next sc, sk next 3 sc, 9 tr in next sc. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st in top of beg ch 4.

FASTEN OFF

WEAVE IN ENDS.
