Little Angel Ornament

Measures:
approximately
3-1/2" tall
without hanger

The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.
Please contact me if you find any errors.

 

MATERIALS:

Size 10 Bedspread Weight Cotton Thread
Red Heart Super Saver - 4 ply worsted weight (or thin ribbon)
Steel Hook Size 7
Yarn Needle

Stitches: ch, sl st, hdc, hdc dec, dc.

Difficulty: EASY/MEDIUM


R1: Ch3, 11 hdc in 3rd ch from hook. Join with sl st in top of beg ch3. Ch2, do not turn. (12hdc)

R2: Hdc in ea st. Join with sl st in top of beg ch2. Ch2, do not turn.

R3-4: Rep R2.

R5: Hdc in next st. Hdc dec 2tog. (Hdc in next 2 sts. Hdc dec 2tog) around. Join with sl st in top of beg ch2. Ch3, do not turn.

R6: (Dc, ch2, 2dc) in first st. (2dc, ch2, 2dc) in ea rem st. Join with sl st in top of beg ch3. Ch3, do not turn. (8 ch2 sps)

R7: Dc in ea dc. (2dc, ch2, 2dc) in ea ch2 sp. Join with sl st in top of beg ch3. Ch3, do not turn.

R8: -skirt- Dc in next 2dc. (2dc, ch2, 2dc) in ch-2 sp. Dc in ea dc across to next ch2 sp. Sk next 3 ch2 sps. Dc in ea dc across to ch2 sp. (2dc, ch2, 2dc) in ch2 sp. Dc in ea dc across to next ch2 sp. Sk next 3 ch2 sps. Dc in last 4dc. Join with sl st in top of beg ch3. Ch3, do not turn.

R9: Dc in ea dc. (2dc, ch2, 2dc) in ea ch2 sp. Join with sl st in top of beg ch3. Ch3, do not turn.

R10-11: Rep R9.

Fasten Off.

FINISHING:
Weave a short strand of worsted weight yarn (or ribbon) through R9, gather and tie a bow.
Add the hanger of your choice to the top of the angel's head... I used a strand of the bedspread cotton.
