Lady's Kerchief Free Crochet Pattern

Measures 40-1/2" across tie side.
Body measures 12-1/2" at widest point (on tie side)
and 8-1/2" from long side to tip (last row).


The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.
Please contact me if you find any errors.

MATERIALS:

PEACHES & CREME - (White - approximately 1 ounce)

Hook Size H/8-5:00MM

Stitches: ch, fsc, sc, sl st.

Difficulty:  MEDIUM


Foundation Row: Make 107 fsc and fasten off.
35fsc on each end is for the ties and the other 37 center stitches is the body of the kerchief.

BODY
R1: Reattach yarn in the 36th fsc with a sc.
*Ch1. Sk 1fsc, sc in the next fsc.
Rep from * across to the 72nd fsc. (make sure you have 35fsc left unworked on that end)
(18 ch1 sps & 19sc)

R2: Ch1, turn. Sc in the next ch sp.
(Ch3. Sc in the next ch sp) across.
(17 ch1 sps & 18sc)

Rep R2 until you only have 1 ch3 sp left on the row.

Fasten off.
