Lacy Scarf

7-1/2"W x 57-1/2L
Without Fringe

The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.
Please contactme if you find any errors.

 

MATERIALS:

Red Heart Super Saver (less than 8 ounces)
Hook Size J

Stitches: ch, sl st, sc, dc,
CrSt=Sk next st, dc in next st, dc in skipped st.

Difficulty: EASY


R1: Ch26, Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in ea rem ch. (25 sc)

R2: Ch3, turn. * Sk next st. (Dc, ch1, dc) in next st. Sk next st. CrSt over next 2 sts. Rep from * across to last 4 sts. Sk next st. (Dc, ch1, dc) in next st. Sk next st. Dc in last st.

R3: Ch3, turn. (Dc, ch1, dc) in next ch-1 sp. *CrSt in next CrSt. (Dc, ch1, dc) in next ch-1 sp. Rep from * across. Dc in last st {top of beg ch3}.

Rs4-82: Rep R3

Last Row: Sc in ea dc and ch across. (25 sc)

Fasten Off

FRINGE: Cut 3-12" lengths of same yarn to use as fringe... I place a fringe in every other stitch along the short ends.

I made another scarf without fringe using Homespun Yarn.
It was alot shorter (row 3 was repeated through R57 and it measured 8"x48")... great for a child.

 

Fasten off.
