MATERIALS:

Red Heart Super Saver-4ply worsted weight (White & Red)
     White - less than 1/4 oz
     Red - less than 1/4 oz

Hook Size I

Stitches: ch, sl st, hdc, dc.

Difficulty:  MEDIUM

R1: With White, Ch4, 11dc in the 4th ch from the hook.
Join with a sl st in the top of the beg ch4. (12dc)

R2: Do not turn. Sl st bet first 2sts. Ch3.
Dc in the same sp. 2dc in the sp bet all other sts. (24dc)

Fasten off.

R3: With same side facing, sl st bet first 2sts. Ch3. 2dc in the same sp.
Ch1
( Sk 3sts. 3dc bet next 2sts. Ch1. ) around
Join with a sl st in the top of the beg ch3.    [8-3dc groups & 8-ch-sps]

R4: Do not turn. Ch2. (dc, hdc) in same st.
Sl st in next st.
(hdc, dc, hdc) in next dc.
Sl st in next ch sp.

*(hdc, dc, hdc) in next dc.
Sl st in next dc.
(hdc, dc, hdc) in next dc.
Sl st in next ch sp.

Rep from * around.
Join with a sl st in the top of the beg ch2. [ 8 hearts when finished ]

Fasten off.
