MATERIALS:

Red Heart Super Saver-4ply worsted weight (Pink)
Hook Size G
Black Hair Elastic

Stitches: ch, hdc, dc, sc, sl st.

Difficulty:  MEDIUM

R1: Ch2, 2sc in second ch from hook. (2sc)

R2: Ch1, turn. 2sc in ea st. (4sc)

R3: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st. (4sts)

R4: Ch1, turn. 2sc in first st. Sc in next 2sts. 2sc in last st. (6sts)

R5: Rep R3. (6sts)

R6: Ch1, turn. Sc in the first sc.
(Hdc, dc, hdc) in next st.
Sl st in next 2sts.
(Hdc, dc, hdc) in next st.
Sc in last st. (10sts)

Continue around heart, placing 1sc in ea row end down the side, 3sc in the stitch at the bottom point, sc in ea row end up other side.
Join with sl st in the first sc on R6.

Fasten off.

Use a yarn needle and same yarn to sew heart to hairband.
