The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.
This pattern has not been tested so please contactme if you find any errors.

MATERIALS:

Hook: Size G

Yarn: 3 ply Sport Weight Yarn ( I used Red Heart and this project takes less than 3 oz)

Stitches used: ch, sc, sc dec, tr

Difficulty: EASY/MEDIUM

ROW 1: Ch 141, sc in hump of each chain across. Ch 1, turn.

ROW 2: Sc dec over 1st 2 sc, * tr in next st, sc in next st. Rep from * across. Sc dec over last 2 sts.

< THIS IS THE WRONG SIDE >

FASTEN OFF

ROW 3: With the Right Side facing, reattach yarn in the 9th tr on Row 2. Sc in the same st and in each ch across placing the last sc in the 9th tr from the end. Ch 1, turn.

ROW 4: Sc dec over next 3 sts, tr in next st, sc in next st across to last 4 sts. Tr in next st, sc dec over last 3 sts. Ch 1, turn.

ROW 5: Sc dec over next 3 sts, sc in each rem st across to last 3 sts, sc dec over last 3 sts. Ch 1, turn.

ROW 6: Sc dec over next 2 sts, * tr in next st, sc in next st. Rep from * across to last 2 sts, sc dec over last 2 sts. Ch 1, turn.

ROW 7: Sc dec over next 2 sts, sc in each rem st across to last 2 sts. Sc dec over last 2 sts.

Finish off.

NOTE: Depending on your tension the headband may curl a bit but it still wears the same.

TO WEAR: Place the headband around the face and tie the two corners at the back of the neck at beneath your hair line.
