Hanging Wipes Holder Free Crochet Pattern

Holds one pack of
Parents Choice 72 count wipes.


The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.
Please contact me if you find any errors.

MATERIALS:

Red Heart Super Saver-4ply worsted weight (Pretty in Pink - less than 3 ounces)

Hook Size N
Parents Choice 72 Count Wipes

Stitches: ch, rev sc, sc, sl st, dc.

Difficulty:  MEDIUM

NOTE: Entire pattern is worked holding two strands together.


R1: With 2 strands held tog, ch20. Dc in the 4th ch from the hook.
Dc in ea rem ch. (18dc)

Rs2-12: Ch3, turn. Dc in ea st. (18dc)

R13A: Ch3, turn. Dc in next 2sts.

R14A: Ch3, turn. Dc in ea st. [RS]

Fasten off leaving 10-12".

R13B: Reattach yarn on opposite side of R12. Ch3, dc in 2sts.

R14B: Rep R14A.

Fasten off leaving 10-12".

Use a yarn needle to join the sts of R14A to the cor sts on the foundation row.
Use a yarn needle to join the sts of R14B to the cor sts on the foundation row.

SIDE OPENINGS (Do this on on each end)

R1: Join same yarn with a sc in the end of any row and sc evenly around. ( I put 2sc in ea row end and an extra sc where the rows were joined.) Join with a sl st in the first sc.

R2: Ch1, do not turn. Rev Sc in ea st. Join and fasten off.

FRONT OPENING

Join same yarn in any st at the front opening (where wipes will be pulled from). Ch1, Rev sc around entire opening. Join and fasten off.

HANGER STRAPS (Make 2)

Ch40, sl st in the hump of the 2nd ch from the hook.
Sl st in the hump of ea rem ch. Fasten off leaving a length of yarn to join it to the opposite end later on.

On each end, weave one Hanger Strap through the original row ends where you made the SC stitches for the edge. (see photo)

Join the ends using the yarn tail and a yarn needle.

Insert Wipes and hang on the toilet tissue holder.
