The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.
I have personally tested this pattern several times but please contact me if you find any errors.

MATERIALS:

Hook Size G
Red Heart 4-ply Worsted Weight Yarn
Ribbon
3" Metal Ring
Yarn Needle
Cardboard (One piece cut into a 3-7/8" circle)

Stitches Used: ch, sl st, sc, dc.

Difficulty: EASY/ MEDIUM

FRONT

(right side)
Rnd 1: Join yarn with sl st in ring. (ch 2, sc in ring) 19 times. Ch 2, join in 1st sl st made to finish round. Do Not Turn. Sl st in next ch-2 sp.

Rnd 2: Ch 3, 4 dc in same sp. Sc in next Ch-2 sp. *5dc in next ch-2 sp. Sc in next ch-2 sp. Rep from * around. Join with sl st in top of beg ch 3.

BACK

Rnd 1: Ch 4, 11 dc in 4th ch from hook. Join with sl st in top of beg ch 4. (12 dc)

Rnd 2: Ch 3, turn. Dc in same st as beg ch 3. 2 dc in each rem st. (24 dc) Join with sl st. Ch 3, turn.

Rnd 3: Dc in same st as beg ch-3. Dc in next st. * 2dc in next st. Dc in next st. Rep from * around. Join with sl st. Ch 2, Do Not Turn.

ASSEMBLY

Holding the back piece to the wrong side of the front piece, sc in the FL only of any sc on the front piece. Ch 2. Sc in the next 3 sts on the back piece. * Ch 2, sc in FL only of next sc on front piece. Ch 2, Sc in next 3 sts on back piece. Rep from * 5 times. Ch 2, sc in FL only of next sc on front piece. Ch 2, sc in next st on back piece. Fasten Off.

HANGING LOOP

With the wrong side of the frame facing you. Sl st around the metal ring just below the top center 5 dc set. Ch 6, sl st around metal ring in same sp. Fasten off and weave in yarn ends.

Tie ribbon to center dc of top 5dc set.
