MATERIALS:

Red Heart Super Saver-4ply worsted weight (Orange- less than 1 ounce)
Red Heart Super Saver-4ply worsted weight (Black - less than 1 ounce)
Hook Size G

Stitches: ch, sc, dc, sl st.

Difficulty:  MEDIUM

R1: Ch17, join to form a ring. Ch1, Sc in ea ch. (17sts)
Join with a sl st in the first st.

R2: Ch3, do not turn. (counts as 1dc)
3dc in the next 3sts. Dc in the next st. (11dc)

R3: Ch3, turn. Dc in same st. Dc in ea st across to last.
2dc in last st. (13dc)

Rs4-6: Ch3, turn. Dc in ea st. (13dc)

R7: Rep R3. (15dc)

R8: Rep R4. -RS-

Fasten off.

EDGE: With RS facing, join black with a sc in the first st.
(3dc in the next st. Sc in the next st.) across

Working around the remaining edge of the apron, sc evenly around. (I placed 2sc around ea st along the dc row ends) Join with a sl st in the first sc.

Fasten off

TIE: Make a chain approximately 70 chains. Insert the ends of the tie through the first and last st on R4 and tie it in the back.
