Fashion Doll Tube Dress, Shawl & Purse Back View

The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.
Please contactme if you find any errors.

 

MATERIALS:

#10 Bedspread Cotton (Small amount of blue and white pearl)
Steel Hook Size 7

Stitches in Purse: ch, sc.
Stitches in Tube Dress: ch, sc,
Stitches in Shawl: ch, sc.
Stitches in Belt: ch


Difficulty: MEDIUM

 


TUBE DRESS

R1: Using Blue, ch 40, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in ea rem ch.

R2: Ch 1, turn. Sc in bl only of ea st across.

Rep R2 until piece will fit snuggly around the doll's body with the ridges vertical.

Joining: Hold the first and last rows tog, sl st corresponding sts tog.

Fasten Off.


SHAWL

R1: Using White Pearl, ch 55, sc in 8th ch from hook. (Ch 4, sk next 3 chs, sc in next ch) across.
[13 ch sps]

R2: Ch 1, turn. Sl st in next ch sp, sc in next ch-4 sp. (Ch 4, sc in next ch-4 sp) across. [12 ch sps]

Rep R2 until shawl comes to a point.

Note: Each new row leaves one less chain space and at the point there is only 1 chain space.

Fasten Off.


BELT:

Make a chain of about 12 inches to use for the belt.

Fasten Off.

Put the dress on the doll, put the shawl around her shoulders, put the belt around her waist and put it through the corner space on each side of the shawl. Tie the belt. This will secure the shawl so it doesn't come off.

 


PURSE:

R1: Ch 9, 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sc in next 6 sc, 5 sc in last sc. Working in rem lps of foundation ch, sc in next 6 chs. Work 3 more sc in the same ch as the first 2 scs made. Do Not Join.

R2-9: Beginning a continuous round. Work 1 sc in the bl of ea st around, ending the last rnd on the side of the purse.

R10: Working in both lps, sc in next 3 sts, ch 12, sk next 4 sc, sc in next 7 sc, ch 12, sk next 4 sc, sc in last 4 sc. Join with sl st.

Fasten Off.
