MATERIALS:
Hook: Size F (Boye)
Yarn: Lion Chenille Sensations
Stitches used: ch, sl st, sc.
Difficulty: MEDIUM
ROW 1: Ch 28, sc in 2nd ch from hok and in each ch across. Ch 1, turn.
ROW 2: Sc in FL only of next 16 sts. Sl st in next st. Turn (leaving rem sts of Row 1 unworked)
ROW 3: Sl st in FL only of sl st. Sc in fl of each rem st across. Ch 1, turn.
ROWS 4:Sc in FL of each st across (including the unworked stitches on Row 1). Ch 1, turn.
ROW 5: Sc in FL of each st. Ch 1, turn.
Repeat Rows 2-5 twice.
You should now be at the narrow end... Ch 10 and join with a sl st in the stitch at the end of the row on the opposite side of the narrow end. This forms a loop that will go over the doll's head.
FASTEN OFF.
FINISHING: Cut a piece of yarn long enough to wrap around the doll's waist and tie in thefront.
(I used about a 10" length) Weave the yarn in and out of the rows near the waist and then take each end behind the doll, then back to the front and tie a bow at the dolls stomach.
