The following pattern is my original design.

MATERIALS:

2 ply Cotton Yarn
Steel Hook Size 1
1/4" ribbon
(1-18" piece for waist tie
1-10" piece for bow )

Stitches: ch, sl st, sc, dc.

Difficulty: EASY

R 1: Ch 31, join w/ sl st to form a ring. Ch 1, sc in ea ch. Join w/ sl st in 1st sc. Ch 3, turn.

R 2: Dc in next 17 sts. (18 dc) Ch 3, turn.

R 3-8: Dc in ea (18 dc). Ch 3, turn.

R 9: Dc in next st. (Ch 1, sk next st, dc in next st) 3 times. Dc in next 3sts. (Ch 1, sk next st, dc in next st) 3 times. Dc in last st. Ch 3, turn.

R 10: Dc in same st as beg ch 3. 2 dc in ea rem ch. Ch 3, turn. (36 dc)

R11-21: Dc in ea st. Ch 3, turn.

R 22: Dc in ea st. Do not fasten off.

BORDER: (Ch 3, sc) evenly around entire apron edge. Join with sl st.

FASTEN OFF.

Weave an 18" piece of ribbon for waist tie through R9.
Tie a 10" piece of ribbon to the center of the 18" piece and tie a bow.
