Jenny Green from New Hampshire wrote me regarding our coaster pattern. This is one of the very first patterns I put on the CNM Website and after Jenny's enlightening email, I realized that I failed to put parentheses around some of the instructions. Any experienced crocheter knows this can completely change a pattern. Thanks to Jenny my error, due to my inexperience in actually putting patterns in writing, has been remedied... at least in this situation. :o) Please... if you find a questionable pattern drop me a line so I can check into it. The following pattern is my original design and can only be copied or printed for personal use.

MATERIALS:

Hook: Size I (I use Boye brand)

Yarn: Any 4ply worsted weight yarn. Simply Soft yarn works really well.

Stitches used: ch, sl st, dc.

Difficulty: EASY

RND 1: Chain 4, 11dc in 4th ch from hk, join with sl st in top of beg ch 3, ch 3, do not turn.

RND 2: 2dc in next dc, (11 times), dc in same dc as beg ch 3, join with sl st in top of beg ch 3, ch 3, do not turn.

RND 3: (Dc in next dc, 2dc in next dc,) (11 times), dc in next dc, dc in same dc as beg ch 3, join with sl st in top of beg ch 3, ch 3, do not turn.

RND 4: (sc in next dc, ch 3,) (35 times), sl st in same dc as beg ch. (36 ch 3 loops). Fasten off.

NOTE: I use this pattern alot. You can make 4 coasters to give as a gift.
