Christmas Angel 2003
Materials:
20 yards 4 ply white yarn
7 yard green bedspread cotton
4" green ribbon
red rosebud
5 aluminum hook
6 steel hook
Circle:
With 5 aluminum hook chain 6, join. Ch 3 turn.
Rnd 1: 12 dc in ring join to top of ch 3. Ch 3 turn.
Rnd 2: Dc in same st, 2 dc in each st around. Ch 3 Turn.
Rnd 3: repeat rnd 2. fasten off.
Tie: Attach white yarn in between any 2 dc in center. Ch 40 skip 6 dc
and attach between two dc. Fasten off.
Lace:
Fold circle in half.
Row 1: With green bedspread cotton and number 6 steel hook insert
needle in back of dc on outer edge and in front half of dc behind draw
thread through, ch 1, sc in same place. * Chain 4 insert needle in
back of dc next st on outer edge and in front half of dc behind draw
thread through, sc in same place. * repeat from * to * accross. Ch 1
turn.
Row 2: In each ch 4 space make 3 sc, picot, 3sc across. Sl st in last
sc. fasten off.
Finishing:
Fold ribbon. Sew rosebud and ribbon to top of center of rnd 1.
Insert wooden spoon in top opening.
