Measurements: 8-1/4" across bottom side 2-1/2" along neckline 5-1/2" from neckline to bottom. NOTE: I made this for my 3 year old daughter and it looks adorable.

MATERIALS:

Hook: Size I
Yarn: 4 Ply Cotton Yarn

Stitches used: ch, sl st, sc, love knot.
Love Knot (ch 1 loosely, sc in the hump on the back of the chain).

Difficulty: EASY/MEDIUM

ROW 1: Ch 11, sc in hump of 2nd ch from hk and in the hump of each ch across.

ROW 2: Sc in each sc, ch 1, turn.

ROW 3: 2 sc in same st as beg ch 1, sc in each sc across to last st. 2 sc in last sc.

ROW 4-10: Rep Row 3

ROW 11: Sc in each sc, ch 1, turn.

ROW 12-15: Rep Row 11.

ROW 16: Rep Row 11 except ch 4 (instead of 1), turn.

BORDER: Sc in same st as beg ch 4, ch 3, sc in each st or end of row around placing a ch 4 in each corner. Join with sl st to 1st ch of beg ch 4.

FASTEN OFF

TIE STRINGS:

Bottom Tie = 36" strand of love knot stitches.
Neck Tie = 24" strand of love knot stitches.
Side Ties (make 2) = 16" strand of love knot stitches.

Weave the bottom tie in and out of the border on the long end. Weave the neck tie in and out of the border on the short end. Tie one of the side ties to each side of the halter on row 13.

TO WEAR:

Tie the neck tie in a bow behind the neck. Tie the bottom tie and the side ties together in the back.
