Card Stock Bookmark

The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.
Please contact me if you find any errors.

MATERIALS:

Red Heart 4 ply Worsted Weight
G Hook

Stitches Used: ch, sl st, sc.

Difficulty: EASY

Cut a piece of card stock 2" x 6".

Punch holes evenly around it.

Attach yarn in any hole. Sc in same hole, ch 1.

(sc in next hole, ch1) around entire bookmark.
Join with sl st.

Fasten Off.

Add fringe:

Cut 6 pieces of yarn approximately 7 inches long. Insert hook in ch-1 space at center top of bookmark. Fold all strands of yarn in half. With right side facing, and using the hook, draw the folded ends of the yarn up through the ch-1 sp and pull the loose ends through the folded end. This completes the fringe and all you need to do is tighten up the knot by pulling on all strands of yarn.

NOTE: If you like less fringe... simply cut fewer strands.

HAPPY CROCHETING
