BLUE AND WHITE DISH DETERGENT DRESS
#6 steel crochet hook
75 yds white size 10 bedspread cotton
150 yds royal blue size 10 bedspread cotton
red rose bud
18" 1/4" red ribbon
Fits 13 oz dish detergent bottle.
Collar and Inner Skirt
Rnd 1: With white chain 30, sl st to first chain. Ch1, 40 sc in ring, join to first ch. Ch 1.
Rnd 2: Sc in first sc, *skip next sc, 3 dc in next sc, skip next sc, sc in next.* Repeat from * to * around. Join to first sc.
Rnd 3: Sl st to center dc, ch 1 sc in same st, 3 dc in next sc, *sc in center dc, 3 dc in next sc.* Repeat from * to * around. Join to first st. Ch 1.
Rnd 4: 2 sc in back of each st. Join to first st.
Rnd 5: Repeat Rnd 2.
Rnd 6-7: Repeat rnd 3.
Rnd 8: Ch1, *2 sc in next st, sc in next st.* Repeat from * to * around. Join to first st.
Rnd 9: Repeat rnd 2.
Rnd 10: Repeat rnd 3.
Rnd 11: Ch 1, sc in next 14, dc in next 6 st, ch 5 sk 20, dc in next 6, sc in next 28, dc in next 6, ch 5 sk next 20, dc in next 6, sc in next 14. Join to first sc.
Rnd 12: Ch 4 sk next st, *dc in next st, ch 1 sk next st.* Repeat from * to * around.
Rnd 13: Ch 3, dc in back of each st around. Join to top of ch 3.
Rnd 14-24: Ch 3, dc in each st around. Join to top of ch 3. Fasten off at end of round 24.
Holding dress upside down attach royal blue to front of Rnd 4, ch 1 sc in same st, *ch 3 sk next st sc in next st.*. Repeat from * to * around. Sl st to first st and fasten off.
Outer Skirt
Rnd 1: Attach royal blue to back of inner skirt in front of st on rnd 13, ch 1 sc in same st, *ch 3 sc in next st.* Repeat from * to * around ending with sl st to first sc.
Rnd 2-3: Sl st in first ch, ch 1 sc in loop *ch 5 sc in next chain 5 loop.* Repeat from * to* around. Sl st to first sc. Ch 1.
Rnd 4: Sc in same st. *In next ch 5 loop make 3 sc, ch 3, 3sc, sc in next sc.* Repeat from * to * around. Sl st to first sc.
Rnd 5: Sl st to chain 3 loop, ch 5 sc in next ch 3 loop. Repeat form to around. End with ch 2 dc to first sc. Ch 1.
Rnd 6-7: Sc in same st, *ch 5 sc in next ch 5 loop. Repeat form * to * around. End with ch 2 dc to first sc. Ch 1.
Rnd 8: Sc in same st.. *Ch 13 sl st to 10 ch from hook, ch 3, 3 sc in next ch 5 loop, Repeat from * to * ending with sl to first sc. Ch 1
Rnd 9: Sc in same st, 3 sc over ch 3, in Chain 10 loop make: 2 sc, ch3, 2 sc, ch3, 2sc, ch 3, 2 sc. 3 sc over next ch.*Sc in next sc,3 sc over next ch 3, in next chain 10 loop make: 2 sc, ch 1, sl st to last ch 3 from previous loop, ch 1, 2 sc in ch 10 loop working in, ch 3, 2 sc, ch 3, 2 sc. 3 sc over next ch 3.* Repeat from * to * around. In last ch 10 loop make: 2 sc, ch 1, sl st to last ch 3 from previous loop, ch 1, 2 sc in ch 10 loop working in, ch3, 2 sc, ch 1, sl st to first ch 3 of beginning ch 10 loop, ch 1, 2 sc in ch 10 1oop working in. 3 sc over next ch 3, sl st to first sc. Fasten off.
Rnd 10: Attach thread to chain 3 loop on top of ch 10 loop, ch 1 sc in same loop, *chain 7, sc in next loop.* Repeat from * to * around. Ending with ch 4 tr to first sc. Ch 1.
Rnd 11-12: Sc in same st *ch 7 sc in next chain 7 loop.* Repeat from * to* around. Ch 4 tr to first sc. Ch 1
Rnd 13: Sl st in first ch, ch 1 sc in loop *ch 7 sc in next chain 7 loop.* Repeat from * to* around, ending with sl st to first st.
Rnd 14: Sc in same st. *In next ch 7 loop make 4 sc, ch 3, 4 sc, sc in next sc.* Repeat from * to * around. End with sl st to first st.
Finishing: sew red rose bud to rnd 4 of collar. Run red ribbon in Round 12. Put dress on dish detergent, tighten ribbon and tie a bow.
