Bradley Taylor wrote me on 12/17/01 to say:
"Song of Solomon does not mention the word God either."

If you know of another Bible book that does not contain the word God please let me know.
Thanks,

16 Revelation

"Just as Genesis is the book of beginnings, Revelation is the book of consummation.
In it, the divine program of redemption is brought to fruition, and the holy name fo God is vindicated
before all creation. Although there are numerous prophecies in the Gospels and Epistles, Revelation
is the only New Testament book that focuses primarily on prophetic events. Its title means "unveiling"
or "disclosure." Thus, the book is an unveiling of the character and program of God. Penned by
John during his exile on the island of Patmos, Revelation centers around visions and symbols of
the resurrected Christ, who alone has authroity to judge the earth, to remake it, and to rule it in righteousness."

18 No! The Bible doesn't specify how many.

The Bible refers to the wisemen as the "magi" and doesn't tell their names anywhere.
You can find the term "magi" in Matthew, Chapter 2. The Bible doesn't state how many wisemen there were.

Something to think about:

According to the Bible the wisemen came to Mary's house where she was with baby Jesus
and they gave him gifts of Gold, Frankencinse and Myrrh (Matt. 2:11). It is thought that there
were only 3 wisemen because there were only 3 gifts mentioned. It is believed that the reason
the gifts were given at the house is that Jesus wasn't a newborn baby at that time. The Bible
references in Matthew 2:16 that King Herod ordered that all of the babies under the age of 2
be killed, therefore if Jesus was under 2 he should've been murdered. This supports the idea
that he should've been older than 2 years. In contrast, Matthew 2:19-21 says that an angel
appeared to Joseph in a dream and told him to take the Child and his mother and go to Israel.
This could be argued that Jesus was still a baby at the time that the Magi could've given Him the gifts.

And they went on stoning Stephen as he called upon the Lord and said, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!"
