"So also we, while we were children, were held in bondage under the elemental things of the world. But when the fulness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, in order that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons."
Galatians 4:3-5
"For as many as are the works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written, 'CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO DOES NOT ABIDE BY ALL THINGS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE LAW, TO PERFORM THEM'.
Galatians 3:10
"Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come."
2 Corinthians 5:17
"Now it came about in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus, that a census be taken of all the inhabited earth. This was the first census taken while Quirinius was governor of Syria. And all were proceeding to register form the census, everyone to his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David, in order to register, along with Mary, who was engaged to him, and was with child. And it came about that while they were there, the days were completed for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her first-born son; and she wrapped Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn."
Luke 2:1-7

love you site, just wanted to let you know you have some really nice patterns, and i took a few for myself to try . i love to crochet . I also wanted to let you know that the Bible page is the greatest . It sure would be nice if everyone could include God, our saviour in all that they do . Thanks again . Laura Phillips
This is my Duchess. She loves her new sweater. I added
some more to the back. On each round I would decrease 2, so the bottom
is at a V shape. The next one I make I'm going to add more to the neck.
Thanks alot,
Tina of Dry Prong, Louisiana
Hi
I just thought I would drop you a quick line to thank you. This site has been a God send for me. I have been crocheting for years but I was never able to understand the patterns. I have always made my own up as I went. Now I am able to follow an intermediate pattern! I still have some problems understanding them but if I have a problem I look you up and you always have the answers!!!!! This is a wonderful site and I have sent it to my friends. They love it also.
Thanks and God bless you and yours not just at Christmas but all year threw!!

Lisa, I just wanted to thank you for helping me with the Lionbrand vest pattern a few weeks ago. It turned out great--thanks to you! As a fairly new crocheter, I need all the help I can get. You and your website have been a tremendous help and inspiration. May God continue to bless you and your ministry on the web. Again, thanks so much and Happy Holidays!!!! In Christ, Malena
We hear so many bad things about what is on the internet, I was so elated to come across your site with the plan of salvation and the Bible trivia. Keep up the good work! I am a Christian.

RE: Square for tablecloth or afghan

Thanks!

Hi! I just wanted to thank you for posting a free pattern for the dog
sweater you designed. I was resently searching HEART's (the no kill animal
shelter) website and found that they are in need of dog sweaters to be
donated. Since Im fairly new to crocheting I figured I could make several,
cheaper, than buying just one. I was delighted to see that the pattern was
simple!
Thanks again and Happy Holidays!
Pam
PS...here's the link to the animal shelter if you or your friends are
interested in making any to donate! http://www.hua.org/
Thank so much for a great pattern. i have a female
mini (really small) and have modified the pattern for
her many times - little short skirt additions, ruffles
around the neck, turtleneck, etc.
thanks again.

* My Pet Peeve:
By Cylinda Mathews
My personal pet peeve is to find an error at the very end of
a big pattern. About 6 years ago, I chose a lovely tablecloth
pattern from either a Magic or Decorative Crochet magazine
to make for my mom. On the last two rnds, after months of
working on this cloth, I found an error. Because these patterns
are in symbol crochet, and the edge of the cloth was hidden in
the picture, I had to design my own edging. My other pet peeve
is an error at the very beginning. If you can't figure it out, or
contact the designer, you can't even begin!

While a friend and I were visiting Annapolis, we noticed several students on
their hands and knees assessing the courtyard with pencils and clipboards in
hand.
"What are they doing?" I asked our tour guide.
"Each year," he replied with a grin, "The upperclassmen ask the freshmen how
many bricks it took to finish this courtyard."
"So what's the answer?" my friend asked him when we were out of earshot of
the freshmen.
The guide replied simply, "One."
My wife and I went to a "Dude Ranch" while in Texas.
The cowboy preparing the horses asked if she wanted a Western or English
saddle, and she asked what the difference was.
He told her one had a horn and one didn't, she replied,
"The one without the horn is fine. I don't expect we'll run into too much
traffic."
My husband, Michael, and I were at a restaurant with his boss, a rather
stern older man.
When Michael began a tale, which I was sure he had told before, I gave him a
kick under the table.
There was no response, so I gave him another poke. Still the story went on.
Suddenly he stopped, grinned and said, "Oh, but I've told you this one
before, haven't I?"
We all chuckled and changed the subject. Later, on the dance floor, I asked
my husband why it had taken him so long to get my message.
"What do you mean?" he replied. "I cut the story off as soon as you kicked
me."
"But I kicked you twice and it still took you awhile to stop!"
Suddenly we realized what had happened. Sheepishly we returned to our
table.
The boss smiled and said, "Don't worry. After the second one I figured it
wasn't for me, so I passed it along!"
It was the first camping experience for Jed.
As soon as he had pitched his tent, he went for a hike in the woods. In
about fifteen minutes he rushed back into camp, bleeding and dishevelled.
"What happened?" asked a fellow camper.
"I was chased by a black snake!" cried the frightened Jed.
The camper laughed and retorted, "A black snake isn't deadly."
"Listen," groaned Jed, "If he can make you jump off a fifty-foot cliff, he
is!"

One day a young boy ran crying to his mother and rubbing his behind.
His mother said, "Bobby, why are you crying?"
"Because daddy hit his thumb with the hammer!" little Bobby wailed.
"Why, that's not something to cry over," his mother told him. "That should
make you laugh."
Bobby rubbed his behind and said tearfully, "I DID laugh!"
