The following pattern is my original design.

Hook: Size H

Yarn: 4 ply worsted weight yarn (brown and yellow)

Stitches used: ch, sc, dc, Sasha's Picot.

SASHA'S PICOT = Ch 3, sc in 3rd ch from hk.

Now I know you're all thinking, what is Sasha's Picot???
Well, that's my niece's version of the traditional picot. the only difference between the two is the traditional picot uses a slip stitch and Sasha's uses a single crochet. Anyway, Sasha sat down with me while I was designing and after she played around with her yarn she asked me what she just did. I said I didn't know but would she show me. She did and to make a long story a short one... I used her style of picot stitch to make the sunflower petals. So this design is thanks to Sasha Louise Watts, Future Crochet Designer :o)

Yarn Needle
Aleene's Tacky Glue
2 Yellow Wiggle Eyes
Scrap of Red Felt

Difficulty: EASY

RND 1: With brown, ch 4, 11 dc in 4th ch from hk. Fasten off and weave in ends.

RND 2: Attach yellow in any dc. * 3 Sasha's Picots, sl st, in 1st picot made. Sc in next Dc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to base where you joined the yellow. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Glue on eyes, mouth and magnet.

Work entire sunflower in yellow and use black wiggle eyes to make a "SUN" fridgie.
