MATERIALS:
Peaches & Creme (white - less than 2oz)
Hook Size H
Yarn Needle
Stitches: ch,
dc, fpdc, bpdc. sc.
Difficulty:
MEDIUM
R1: Holding 2 strands tog, Ch23.
Dc in 4th ch from hook (21sts)
R2: Ch3, turn.
FPDC in next st.
(BPDC in next st. FPDC in next st.) across to last st.
Dc in last st. (21sts)
R3: Ch3, turn.
BPDC around next st.
(FPDC around next st. BPDC around next st.) across to last st.
Dc in last st.
(21sts)
R4: Rep R2.
R5: Rep R3.
R6: Rep R2.
R7: Rep R3.
R8: Rep R2.
R9: Rep R3.
R10: Rep R2.
JOINING
Ch1, turn. Fasten off leaving 18-20" for sewing.
Fold R1 up to meet R10. Using a yarn needle, sew the corresponding sts tog.
(Note: There is no wrong way to do this step, you can whip stitch to seam the rows or you can slip stitch them together. I liked the look of sewing because the seam is less raised.)
LOOP:
Join one strand with a sc in any stitch on one open end of potholder.
Ch10, SC in next st.
Ch1, turn. 14sc in the ch lp.
Join with sl st in the same st as the beg ch10.
Fasten off.
