WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT

I have wiped out your transgressions like a thick cloud, and your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.

Isaiah 44:22

"And they shall not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them," declares the Lord, "for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more."

Jeremiah 31:34

The next day he saw Jesus coming to him, and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! "

John 1:29

"For I will be merciful to their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more."

Hebrews 8:12

"WHEN GOD FORGIVES, IT'S TIME FOR US TO FORGET. "

This quote is from Our Daily Bread - November, 2001 Issue.

American women have their own special eye for style and taste. They like apparel that has unique qualities and meets their needs for comfort and multi-purpose use. And we understand that. We also understand that value and customer service are important in the lifestyle of active, busy women who must often wear many hats. You want quick delivery . . . you like free shipping. And you don't have a great deal of time to be changing clothes several times in a day for multiple activities. You need versatile separates that travel well from work, to dinner with friends, to PTA meetings. And the good news is . . . we've got it all right here!

CROCHET TIP:

When purchasing a yarn needle for use in weaving ends be sure to choose one with a medium size eye. The needles with the extra large eyes seem to stretch the stitches and the smaller eye needles are difficult to thread with the yarn. I recommend Wrights #16 Yarn Needles.

Hi Lisa!
I Just read your article about your little "new crocheter". This is so cute, I just had to write to you. I babysit for my grandaughter who's 18 months old now. Every day she watches me crochet (when I can!). She let me know in her own words that she wanted my crochet hook & yarn!!! Well, you should see her little hands wiggle that hook , she swears she's crocheting!
God love these little children! ..............Just had to write to you! Millie

Thank you sharing the fun you are having with your young crochet partner.
Remember to treat those first efforts carefully when she finishes them.
Framing such early efforts is a way to keep them safe and let her know how
much her mother treasures her and her work.
Angel

Just finished reading through this pattern. The design is so clever! I love it and I definitely going to make it tonight. I love Lion Brand chenille, it's almost Christmas, and I just started putting my long hair up in a bun. Bravo! More! <hint, hint> <g>.

Thank you for sharing this with us.

I love your newsletter, dear lady.

Smiles,
Janis Petrich

Your site is great...I also had a mini-schnauzer named Schotzi, but she was a little girl, I had her 10 yrs. but lost her to Kidney Failure. I now have another mini. named Sophie she was 2 in May. I needed to make a Sweater for my Chihuahua named Anistasia, also my other Chihuahua named Pancho. Thank you so much for the patterns.
Millie Owen

Thank you so much for the dog sweater pattern! My daughter has a mini Maltese, and I was having such a hard time finding a sweater to fit Harley! But thanks to your pattern, I have been able to make a sweater to fit him! In fact, I made four of them today! He looks so cute in his new "wardrobe" of sweaters! I plan to make a few more as x-mas presents for the other "babies" in the family!

Your Schnauzer is so cute! My aunt had a poodle named Schotzi! Thanks again for the pattern, and I really enjoy your site!! I hope to send a picture of Harley in one of his new sweaters.

Both my little pooches have a coat now...however...I made the first for the Jack Russell...and the second for a Chi...I adjusted the pattern for the Chi...thinking he would need it smaller...and the little fatty didn't fit it...they both could have used the same size...different shapes is all
thanks so much for an easy and nice looking dog coat pattern

Beth Stern

Thank You for sharing the pattern for the doggie sweater I made several for my yorkie (Joshua) I had to adjust the pattern for his size he weights 5.5 lbs. we have enjoyed the pattern. I have made him afghans to match most of the sweaters. Thanks again Sue Williams

Hi,

I wanted to pop in and thank you for sharing you dog sweater pattern. I
have a Chihuahua that is about 8 weeks old and she weighs about two pounds
maybe a little more. No colder than it has been in the south she gets
chilly cause I don't have central heat.

I haven't tried the pattern yet but I don't think I will have any problems
with it.

Again thanks much,
gussie june

Hi Lisa,
Thank you for allowing us dog lover's to use your pattern.
I'm a beginner crocheter ( I just learned to crochet a month ago) and successfully
made the sweater using the adjustments for my dog Barkley. Here's a picture of him in it.
The only problem with this sweater is that it's a bit of a struggle to take it off! Thanks again....

HUMOR

Doctor: I see you're over a month late for your appointment. Don't you know that nervous disorders require prompt and regular attention? What's your excuse?

Patient: I was just following your orders, Doc.

Doctor: Following my orders? What are you talking about? I gave you no such order.

Patient: You told me to avoid people who irritate me.

Two women were discussing marriage, and one said, "We've been married
twenty-five years, and every night my husband has complained about the food.
Not one night without complaining about the food."
The other woman said, "That's awful. Doesn't it bother you?"
The first one said, "Why should I object if he doesn't like his own cooking?"

A farmer was driving along the road with a load of fertilizer. A little boy, playing in front of his house, saw him and called, "What've you got in your truck?"

"Fertilizer," the farmer replied.

"What are you going to do with it?" asked the little boy.

"Put it on strawberries," answered the farmer.

"You ought to live here," the little boy advised him. "We put sugar and cream on ours."

It was mealtime during our trip on a small airline in the Northwest.
"Would you like dinner?" the flight attendant asked the man seated in front of me.
"What are my choices?" he asked.
"Yes or no," she replied.

My wife and I went to a "Dude Ranch" while in Texas. The cowboy preparing the horses asked if she wanted a Western or English saddle, and she asked what the difference was.

He told her one had a horn and one didn't, she replied, "The one without the horn is fine. I don't expect we'll run into too much traffic."

Little Benny came home from his first day of school and said, "Mommy, the teacher was asking me today if I have any brothers and sisters who will be coming to my school."

"That's nice of her to take such an interest in your family, Dear. What did she say when you told her that you are the only child?"

She just said, "Thank goodness!"
