CROCHET STITCH, TECHNIQUE or TIP
One of the most frequent questions I'm asked (except for pattern stuff) is how do you build and promote a website so that folks will find it. As many of you know my husband Tim works full time building and promoting sites. We also know that many folks may not be able to afford the cost of having this done professionally so he is in the process of creating an ebook which should help everyone. Basically it is a step by step guide on how to build (or remodel) your site so that it gets traffic from the search engines. The book will be published on June 1st but we are offering a discount to the first 20 folks that preorder it. The link is here:
But you better hurry :o)... they are going fast.

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT
And this is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.
1 John 5:14-15
"And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive."
"And whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. If you love Me, you will keep my commandments."
"THERE IS NEVER A DAY WHEN YOU DON'T NEED TO PRAY."
This quote is from Our Daily Bread - May, 2001 Issue.

Many people have trouble with tunisian afghan stitch curling on them at the beginning, well here is a simple thing that I do to prevent that from happening. Just make 2 rows of afghan stitch purl and then start your
project. You will find that it is not curling for you. hope this helps someone!!!!

I just copied a preemie cap by Joanne DiLucca Schlub. Been looking for a design that was "girlie" and this is beautiful. Most have a turn up brim. I will be donating these caps to our local hospital. My little girl was 5lbs. 7oz. and she was born 12-27 - her cap was red and white candy stripes! Thanks again for such a feminine looking cap.

YOUR GUIDE TO AN ART-FUL SUMMER!
With spring here and summer not far behind, the season for fairs, art
shows, and festivals has begun. A good place to begin your search for
what's going on in your neck of the woods is to visit the website of
AmericanStyle Magazine. The folks there do active Americans a big favor
by compiling and printing an outstanding and easily accessed listing of
everything exciting and new in the art and crafts world. Begin by
clicking on the appropriate region on a map of the U.S., then view the
individual states and the activities happening there. The lists are kept
up-to-date and short explanations of each show are given, as well as
exact dates and phone numbers to call for further information.
Collectors Corner, also on the site, offers interesting articles about
art-related collectibles, and articles from their newsstand magazine are

A man goes into a drugstore and asks the pharmacist if he can give him
something for the hiccups. The pharmacist reaches out and slaps the man's

You didn't believe in me
An atheist was spending a quiet day fishing when suddenly his boat
was attacked by the Loch Ness monster. In one easy flip, the beast
tossed him and his boat high into the air. Then it opened its mouth
to swallow both.
As the man sailed head over heels, he cried out, "Oh, my God! Help me!"
At once, the ferocious attack scene froze in place, and as the atheist
hung in mid-air, a booming voice came down from the clouds, "I thought
you didn't believe in Me!"
"Come on God, give me a break!!" the man pleaded. "two minutes ago I
didn't believe in the Loch Ness monster either!"
It was just after midnight, and there was a loud rapping at the
doctor's door. Dragging himself out of bed and poking his head
from the window, he shouted down at the lone figure. "Well?"
The woman looked up, "No, sick."
